Leo Doty

Leo Doty is one of the coaches of the middle school boys and girls cross country teams.  
He graduated from the University of New Mexico in 1984 with a BS in Civil Engineering.  
After graduating from college, he served 8 years in the United States Marines.  

Following his time in the Marines, Coach Doty started teaching and coaching at MacArthur
High School in Lawton, Oklahoma.  While at MacArthur, he began coaching football and
track; eventually he moved to coaching Cross Country in place of football.

Coach Doty began teaching math and coaching Cross Country at Hudson High School in
1999.  He was the assistant coach for the high school boys Cross Country team in 1999
and 2000.  In 2001, he began coaching the Hudson Middle School Cross Country teams.  
Since he has been the Cross Country coach at the middle school, the girl’s have won 3
Western Reserve Conference Championships and the boys team have won 4 Western
Reserve Conference Championships.  Coach Doty has also been a high school boy’s track
coach since 1999.

Coach Doty and his wonderful wife Toni have three children.  In his free time, he loves
running hills and enjoys listening to bluegrass music.
